TempCrowns (temporary crowns)
This is a coping made of PMMA (Poly Methyl Methacrylate) that can be used to take impressions, or to make a temporary crown in an attempt to re-create the papillae around the implant. Any kind of composite can be bond onto it and make the desired crown shape. It can also be used if there is too much excess of soft tissue, so that the gum will not be able to cover the margins of the implant. Not to be used with temporary cement in immediate extraction cases. Only recommended to be used after the first 2 months of healing. Each crown is milled from a PMMA disk to ensure maximum strength and accuracy.
